Having trained with the School of Sacred Arts in Bali in 2017, Emma is a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance USA. She offer’s yoga classes which are accessible and inclusive with a particular interest in the holistic nature of yoga for the purpose of overall well-being for mind, body and spirit.

Drawing upon her background in the arts, Emma employs story – telling, poetry and song in her classes for a deeply resonating alchemy for the soul.

Emma’s principle style is rooted in Hatha / Vinyasa and celebrates each and every body as exquisitely unique. She encourages and empowers her students to listen to the innate wisdom that their individual bodies holds (- the only true teacher!) With the view that the “perfect pose” is what serves the individual’s body from moment to moment.

Emma also offers Yin Yoga classes which is a slow, passive form of Yoga that aims to disengage the muscles of the body in order to reach and release the inter-connective tissue (fascia) working with Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian lines. The practice employ Buddhist mindfulness practices in order to be able to meet whatever arises.

  • Releases fascia and improves joint mobility
  • Balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi or prana

She also offers Swara Yoga as learnt from Randall O’Leary where pranayama is fundamental and initiates your movement. The aim of Swara yoga is to establish and maintain Sama-vritti (equal ratio breathing) to allow for deep restoration of mind and body.
